So yesterday I had an interesting comment on an old post of mine. I decided to leave the comment up there in case anyone feels tempted to follow Ray's advice. However, coincidentally I've had someone using my 'Send Entry' page as a Spam factory ever since that comment. Thanks to this lowlife I've had to implement CAPTCHA on both my send entry page and my contact page. I'm holding off on the comments, but if things get bad I'll have to do those too. My apologies to my readers. Please do not let this dissuade you from sending entires or contacting me.

Dan Wilson's Gravatar Todd,

I implemented CFFormProtect on a number of contact forms and it works very well.

Have a look here: http://cfformprotect.riaforge.org

todd sharp's Gravatar OK apparently the losers are actually doing this by hand, so now I'm tracking IPs and banning them one by one.

Unbelievable...

I will have to look into that Dan, thanks.

Steve Bryant's Gravatar At the risk of promoting my own stuff, I have a (free/os) SpamFilter.cfc that should eliminate most form spam - even if it is manually entered.

Jonny Shaw's Gravatar I hate spammers too. At one point i was getting nearly 20 spam comments a day!
So i wrote my own CAPTCHA script (which can be found on my blog) :D and now i get no spam.

uggs's Gravatar one of the most counterfeited brands in the fashion world due to its image as a status symbol. Only a small fraction of products bearing the LV initials in the general population are authentic. Ironically, the signature <a href="http://www.isavemost.com/monogram-canvas-c-13_38.h... Canvas</a> was created to prevent counterfeiting.[6] In 2004, accounted for 18% of counterfeit accessories seized in the European Union.

jack's Gravatar You want the perfect wedding dress , so you have made it a major focus of your pre wedding planning. There are some things you need to find from the bridal shop, before you even look at your first gown. Do you need to make an appointment to visit the shop? Does the store carry dresses you can afford Can you browse the whole collection, or do you only get to see the cocktail dressesthe sales person chooses for you? If this shop doesn't carry the dress you love, can it be ordered?

Once these questions have been answered and you find a dress or two that you like, there are still more questions you need to ask.

Can a particular dress be ordered with different sleeves, or neckline?
What alterations can be done and what will that cost?
Can you get a written estimate on the alterations?
If we order the bridesmaids dresses here, can we get a discount or free alterations?
Do you have headpieces and or veils that will go with my dress?
How much is the deposit and when is the balance due?
What are the cancellation and refund policies?
Can we get a Rush on this wedding dresses if necessary?
